Behind the scene, photography is an essential part of my process, as I feel I they give me a chance to show off my process. In addition, they let me keep a memory from each photo shoot. I adapted this tradition early on, and soon it became a routine. Where I would set up a camera, and ask my assistant to shoot a few behind the scene photographs. These photographs are a great way to tell exactly what happens behind the camera lens, and a great insight for many.
My behind the scene photographs are mostly here to help people see what goes on behind the camera, and what really is the image they see. This is a great way to learn more about the fashion world, and about photography. As you can really see what is going on, and a picture does tell a story.Where you are able to see, how the lights are positioned, what kind of shoot it is, where does the other equipment go. Which is great for people who have an eye for detail, as they are able to see how to set up in different settings, and what equipment is required. It might not be a lot, but most of us learn more by watching and reading at the same time.

When I started out as a professional fashion photographer, I did not have much to go on, and most of what I learned was through viewing other people’s work. As school can only teach you so much, the rest you have to adapt and develop skills for.Which is why I felt that even a small glimpse can help new photographers assess the situation, and face their future accordingly. Today, most people feel that behind the scene pictures are just a way to show off the fancy equipment, but what they lack to see it’s a learning experience.
So no matter where I in the world I am, if I am covering a personal shoot I always take out time to capture the scene images. As it is my way of sharing my life and experiences with you, so they can inspire you to follow your dreams as I followed mine.It might have been a long road to success, but I am proud of my journey, and just hope that someone else like me can see these images and be inspired enough to follow their all the way to the top. Keep in mind that no matter how tough you feel your dream might be to achieve, there is a way to achieve it.
Keep your head up, and stay focused on what you want in life. As it will help you achieve your heart’s desire, and keep you motivated throughout.
